// How long have you been a member of Limitless Lab?

I have been a member since August 30, 2024.

// What is your ‘WHY’? (i.e. why are you a member, what keeps you coming back for more, what is your personal success story, etc.)

My “why” is simple - because I want to work towards being the strongest and healthiest version of myself. Over the last few years, I had been slipping into unhealthy habits, gaining weight, and not feeling well in general. My physical AND mental wellness were suffering. I needed to make a change.  A couple of my friends had been going to Limitless Lab and telling me how awesome it was. I attended my first class, and I knew it was the right place for me. Since joining the gym, I have lost around 25 lbs. and countless inches, and I have gained a new family!

// What is your favorite fitness movement and why?

Wall balls! They combine the strength and power of a squat with the added challenge of explosive movement and coordination.

// What has been your least favorite workout and why?

The hardest workouts for me are ones with box overs and/or running. Box overs are challenging because my shorter legs make the step and transition a little more demanding. Running is challenging for me because my endurance isn’t where I want it to be yet.

// What is your pre- and/or post-workout fuel?

Before a morning workout, I typically eat a banana and some overnight oats. After a workout, I usually wait a few hours to have anything, and then I will do a protein shake.

// What is your favorite gym ‘quirk’ or personal mantra (i.e. inside joke, well-known member quirk, saying, etc.)?

My personal mantra is “Don’t give up, keep pushing”. I am my own worst enemy and sometimes I want to throw in the towel during a workout that might be hard for me. I need to remind myself to keep going.

// What’s the weirdest thing in your gym bag?

I have so many socks in my bag!!
